Still Amazed By The "Faux-Jack"

Would any of y'all pay to have a package pre-loaded with the software, along with good instructions and tips for mounting, powering, etc?

  1. Lacking both a scooter and money, and stubbornly still convinced that a badass chain and access to an immovable object would be more practical anyway, I regret I must answer in the negative.

However you might drop by any local dealers in scooters or other devices prone to Going to Walk With Jesus without their owners' knowledge, and see if you could talk said dealer into offering this setup as an option. He does the sales, you do the install, everyone happy except the scooterjacker. :)

Around here the go-buggy-du-jour is a 4-wheeler; I think the largest purveyor in the state is about 2 miles from where i sit.

  2. Well, this system would also work well (better?) for cars, since they have larger charging systems and batteries... not that the phone is a huge draw (~100mA).

I'd love an immovable object to chain the Vino to, but there are none. The rules say all vehicles must be in a parking space, and there are no poles, fences or other fixed objects within chaining distance of ANY parking spot... let alone one visible from my condo. Right now, I lock both scooters together, overnight. Not foolproof, but very inconvenient for a thief.
