Trace Post II

A nice picnic spot on the Buffalo River.

Riding The Trace... In February?

Well, when it gets up to 72°F, yeah!

I actually went farther south than this -- to just south of the Buffalo River. Nextel apparently has spotty service south of the map area along the Trace, and between Centerville and TN-840, anyway. 

Realizing that fuel might become an issue (I'd already ridden to Columbia for one fill-up, which was 17 miles off the Trace), I turned around and headed back north, and decided to head towards Centerville and catch TN-100 back into town.

Here I am at the gas station beside the Loveless Cafe, before starting the Trace ride.

Ha!  At that gas station that was so far out of my way!

This was at the Water Valley overlook, I think. The view was somewhat marred by the high-tension power lines.

In case some of you are wondering what happened to JP’s posts, they have been deleted. Unfortunately, JP has become the first member to be booted in over a year. He broke the rules of this topic, which clearly say before you enter:
“CAUTION! IF YOU CANNOT DISCUSS POLITICS AND RELIGION WITHOUT BEING NASTY OR OFFENDED YOU PROBABLY DON’T BELONG IN HERE!”
Well, JP obviously is a young, dumb, full of… oops! Anyway, I could tolerate his BS in this forum, but when he starts spreading slanderous rumors on other forums about a club I belong to, that’s going over the line, especially since the club I belong to is mainly liberals to begin with!

It is truly unfortunate and probably inappropriate to try and discuss anything with immature people, but what can I say… I can’t see the people behind the keyboard.
