Out of the U.S. lineup for 2012 (although new old stock purchases will be around for a while):
* Sting 50
* People S 125
* People S 200
* People S 250
* Grand Vista 250
* Xciting 250
* Xciting 250Ri
* Quannon 150 (motorcycle)
* Venox 250 (motorcycle)
* All 2-stroke versions of 50cc scooters -- they're gone, gone, gone
In the U.S. for the first time in 2012:
* Two new "LX" versions of the Like -- 50 and 200i (no news on the 'tubes about these, but they're pricier, so maybe they're Taiwanese rather than mainland Chinese)
* Two (of the three available elsewhere; U.S will not see the 125i) displacements for the Downtown -- 200i (new) and 300i (300i not new; both models having identical body styling and dimensions)
* Two (of the three available elsewhere; U.S. will not see the 125i) displacements for the new (to the U.S.) People GT -- 200i and 300i (both having identical body styling and dimensions)
Now, I just have to decide which to buy first when I win the lottery. I love the Downtown, but they have really sexed up the fugly cousin of the Kymco brand, the People, moving the radiator behind the front wheel like the rest of the civilized world... that GT 300i is giving me slight wood (or the model is, one). I should also mention the U.S versions of the People GT will have the idiotic bug-pod turn signal indicators under the handlebars (which should be immediately removed by people of taste, and the actual, beautiful, huge honkin' indicators on the front fairing wired in, ASAP). Fuckin' NHTSA and DOT.
UPDATE: ... to reflect additional pissage: People 300i not available in white in U.S.! WTF, KymcoUSA? Y'all are really clueless, aren't ya?
